Had a meeting earlier with MYX. It was great! :D

We had our second meeting with our adviser for SOMBA. Apparently, compared to the other groups, we are left just a bit behind. :P They already started making prototype of their products, while we are still doing research. Hopefully, we will be able to make more ground by the end of this week :D

I got out of bed around 550am and showered after. Grab a bite to eat and off to school. Too bad I wasn't able to feed my employees at Restaurant City, a Facebook application by Playfish, that I really like! :D Going back, I woke up early because we had to go to the International Rice Research Institute at University of Los Banos. :D We got lost a few times, but was still able to get to IRRI more than an hour before lunch. It was nice over at IRRI and UPLB, the whole place was surrounded by trees and mountain, I just wonder if it floods a lot there. :D All in all, the trip was great! We weren't able to talk to someone, but at least we were able to research at the IRRI library, which had better sources compared to the Rizal Librabry, and for free! :D

My birthday is coming up! :)) I wonder if I'll celebrate it...
Maybe I'll have a pizza & ice cream party :D

Had to go to school early today for a meeting, but it turned out as a food tasting for the new JSEC stores...
Brings back the memories when we were trying to land a stall...

I had my TNT Interview this afternoon and I think it went well! :D Anyways, my interviewer asked me to act as Dumbledore, and convince the TNT core that Voldermort is coming. Moreover, I was suppose to convince them to be gay! The good thing is that Dumbledore is really gay, J. K. Rowling said so, and I'm game to do anything just to be a TNT again! :D That's all! By the way, the TNT core liked my papercraft! XD

My monster for TnT Interview later. I was making a Tank (from Left 4 Dead) but someone sat on it. :)) Oh well...

I'm currently reading Memoirs of a Geisha! So far so good! SOMBA will be hell! There are so many things to do!

I really don't like how the authority is handling the situation. Grrr. :D
I'm starting to exercise again :D

After 5 months or so in the making, Herb, Inc. and Carabao Friends, Inc. finally presented Citrosol Air Freshener with active ingredient lemon grass oil extract and YogHeart: Carabao Yoghurt Drink, respectively, to inquisitive panelist! It's been a fun semester with people you just consider friends, who would later on become your barkada. Going on for three days doing the paper without sleep and presenting right after was just one of the things I had to do. I couldn't have done it without these people.

Herb, Inc.
Khaisa King - The only girl in Herb, Inc. She was, not only, the president of Herb, Inc., the editor in chief of the entire paper. She knew most, if not all, the things on paper. I wonder how she manage to go through my parts. Anyways, this girl was the bomb!
Norben Dy - He's not a pushover! He was actually one of the most interesting person in our group. He was always to able to come up with different figures (number value) using almost the same set of values. But that means trouble for me... I'll tell you why later...
Gian Dee - The official artist of the group! We actually didn't know who was going to make our ads, but one afternoon while working, he suddenly opened photoshop for the first time and the rest was history. Well, I'm pretty sorry that we weren't able to use his ads on the final presentation because we had new ones, courtesy of Uyham's girlfriend's friend, but his work saved us in previous requirements.
Francis Uyham - A marketing group will never be able to pull through without someone offering their place to be their headquarter, in other words a place to sleep, eat, charge their cellphone, leave their stuff, and so much more. But, more than that, he is also a good friend who will encourage you and pull the group together when someone is trying to break it apart.
Raymond Kiok - The part-time artist of the group and vocalist. He's job was to make a cinema advertisement and a jingle. Although the second one didn't materialize, we did have fun listening to this guy who has undiscovered talent on singing! :P
Julian Go - Nothing much to say about this guy. He offered his place sometimes and works OK.
Me - I was the one in charge of costing and financial statements. That is why when Norben changes any figure, or if any other costing figure will change, I will be the first one to object because I will have to rework everything from the start which takes about 4 hours, that was before I decided to work on Excel. :))

Moving on to Carabao Friends, Inc.

Me - I was the president, but I was also the one who was gone a day before the final presentation without getting worried about not being able to practice yet and having no powerpoint presentation. It's a long story, but you're free to ask what happened. :))
Geoanna Corneby - This girls panics a lot! :)) But she was also reliable when you needed work to get done. I actually passed onto her the job of creating the aggregate plan, and she was impressively able to manage the stress.
Gabriel Cinco - Inventory Management was his game. I didn't know how to do inventroy managemetn yet back then, so I really needed to pass the responsibility to someone else. I know that it seems to be unprofessional of me since I was the president, but I really can't do anything about it.
Denise Amora - She made our logo! It was really cute! she also did the fine-tuning on our powerpoint! I am impressed, at first I though she was going to be a social loafer, but I guess I was wrong!
Josiah Versoza - This guy has been a good friend since first year summer days when we were still working on the Lit. play. Anyways, it was great working with him again. This time we slept at his place and got to try out great food! Our marketing group also crashed his party to eat dinner! :))

Finally, I was also the quasi-leader of Pig Farm, Inc. It's a long story how I became their group leader, but if you want to know just go look for me. The group is comprised of the boys from Herb, Inc. It was an A group but strained with internal conflict :))

These are the people that worked with me this semester to tackle the marketing and opman project. I don't know if I'll be able to work with them again come next year, since I might be going through the SOMBA program of Ateneo which accepted our product. I just hope each and everyone of them a good luck!

Printing about 200+ pages... about a third done already. XD I really want to get a long sleep, but I guess that would not be possible :) Been through hell this past few days. All the passive aggressive-ity is weighing down on me. SOMBA proposal is due next week, OpMan Defensethis saturday, Marketing Defense next satuday... still so many things to do :( Got a 40 on my Finance LT2... I will study hard come the next exam! I won't be blogging I guess till the school years ends :(
