Entry42 - Post Birthday

Thursday, May 29, 2008

Ranting about things:
I know that I really have to be sleeping right now to prepare for tomorrow's TnT training which will start at 7am sharp, but I really had the itch to blog a little before i go to sleep! XD First off, today was much better than yesterday, which is my birthday, all because... Nevermind, you might not even want to hear any of it anyways! XD I just want to thank the person I was with today for the awesome time I had XD

Entry41 - Literal Crap on Paper

Sunday, May 25, 2008

Ranting about things:
I am not an avid sudoku fan, which would translate that I don't even know how to play it, but that's beside the point. All i know is that there is a new product that would literally put crap on sudoku! XD Featuring the Sudoku Loo Roll from the infamous "I Want Those" website, the tissue paper that let you enjoy the game you love even when crapping. It ships for a freakin' £4.95, that's around Php500! XD

Entry40 - Craps

Friday, May 23, 2008

Ranting about things:
Finally i got some of the plants from our back garden up to my bedroom window so i can monitor their growth daily. I have two katakataka(s), which are souvenirs from my cousins wedding, and I'm planning to get some orchids so there'll be flowers come November for the dead. I am also planning to get bonsais at Manila Seedling Bank when i get the chance. XD

To those who tried reaching me on my celphone, my sim got broken so i can't send a message. To those who tried email, my internet got screwed up, and the wi-fi at the coffeeshop i went to got soooo slow when i tried to open my email that i gave up. To those who tried calling me at home, our number got bitch slap and scrambled up to another house by freakin' PLDT circuit board :(

Entry39 - The End

Monday, May 19, 2008

Ranting about things:

A Series of Unfortunate Events
I might have wished somewhere along the few pages left of the book that the Baudelaire orphans might have a better life, but apparently the author veered away from the typical ending of a series and ended with a rather anti-climactic end where we find the Baudelaire orphans surrounded with more mystery in life. Nonetheless, the author made it that way to somehow give his point of view that there is no way any person can shelter someone from treachery or the wickedness of the world, but he can try to help that person survive it. If you have read "Stolen Child" by W.B. Yeats which is just a few post away from this one, you would know that i am somehow able to see striking similarities with how the poem was written and how Lemony Sniket thinks. I just wish that he just made clear what the sugar bowl is at the end, because I am forced to believe with proof that the sugar bowl's secret is/are seed/s of horseradish that would cure the deadly fungus. To end this really long entry, I leave you with Kit Snicket's final word after Count Olaf's kiss. I wish i know who Count Olaf really is, but then again, maybe the secret is far worse that it rather remains buried in secret forever.

The night has a thousand eyes,
and the day but one;
yet the light of the bright world dies with the dying sun.
The mind has a thousand eyes,
and the heart but one:
yet the light of a whole life dies when love is done.
Francis William Bourdillon

Entry38 - A Series of Unfortunate Events

Monday, May 12, 2008

Ranting about things:
I've been reading Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Event, and so far so good! The book is entertaining, but the main storyline seems to be going really slow. I am on book seven right now and I just needed to give my eyes some break from reading! XD I'm really hoping that the ending of the series really is nice, or I'll be really pissed off reading all those books! XD

@yvette: Sorry, the website is up and running. Sorry for the wrong information.

Misc. Entry - The Stolen Child

Friday, May 9, 2008

This is an excerpt from W.B. Yeats' Stolen Child featured on Artificial Intelligence. I was suppose to use a video excerpt from A.I. but i can't find any on youtube, so i settled for just a picture! I hope you like it!

"Come away, o human child
To the waters and the wild
With a faery hand in hand,
For the world's more full of weeping than you can understand..."
-W.B. Yeats

Entry37 - On Getting the Job Done

Ranting about things:
And another unfruitful day for Mr. Glen Que! I have to admit that i was a bum for most of this week, but I'm really trying my hardest to be on both my feet and do something. How I wish to get out of the house, but mom and dad are out for a couple of weeks, busy with things that they have to tend to. Oh well, so much for my summer vacation. There are a lot of things i need to finish this week both for OrSem and AMA, but then again i decided not to do it since i figure there is still time! Damn! I have to do something about my laziness! Well, it is the summer vacation!

Here's a clip from my favorite movie that I think I should have learned something from already but still haven't.

Cheers

Entry36 - Crazy People

Wednesday, May 7, 2008

Ranting about things:
A few days ago, I decided to add a stat counter on this blog and see that normally five to six people visits the site per day. Amazingly, my site seems to be visited not because my blog is great but because people are searching for people who are my friends that i wrote something about. Well, I can't complain. At least my blog is getting visited once in a while! XD

If you want to see who the people being searched in my blog are, check my multiply post about stalkers. Its open only for contacts though.

Entry35 - Getting A Little More Crazy

Tuesday, May 6, 2008

Ranting about things:
I just came from a meeting with the Myx management, and it was a little crazy. They were really quite interested and said that they would have provided the whole package of stage, lights, sound, host and bands, if it were to be set on an latter day, but what they are asking for is something that is completely out of our hands. If it were suppose to be a logistical arrangement, it would probably been a possible task, but changing the days would mean that we would have to plead with the administration of the Ateneo asking them to completely change the academic calendar of 2008-2009, impossible. Anyways, Myx is still interested on helping us out and would be giving us an answer tomorrow.

Well, since I've posted a video the last time here's another one from Jon McLaughlin. I heard this on Jennifer Love Hewitt's Ghost Whisperer.

Entry34 - I'm Getting more Crazy

Monday, May 5, 2008

Ranting about things:
I really wanted to be a part of the John Gokongwei School of Management Student Enterprise Center for School Year 2008-2009, but apparently i was denied that chance. Since that won't be happening, I'm going back to my original plan of participating at bazaars and see how successful my ideas are. As of now, I have completely scathed off the Topico idea and decided to do the more realistic Beanie Burger idea. Although the Beanie Burger idea is really not that much different from the Topico idea, I am much more comfortable and confident with this one (but i don't know why).

I hope to see you next semester eating from Beanie Burger, alright?

I really liked this song so I hope everyone like it as well.

Have you noticed that the page is different? I tried to change the blog a bit since it looked the same way for almost six months. I'm getting sick of it. I know that only a few are reading this blog, but i have to keep it nice and up-to-date so it'll be interesting for those who'll pass by. Cheers
