Entry123 - Happy New Year
Wednesday, December 31, 2008
Over the transition of 2008 to 2009, this book was my companion. I started reading it at about 11pm of December 31, 2008 and finished around 2am January 1, 2009. Incredible and pretty disturbing. Love it! Happy New Year Everyone!

Kwento1: Magic
Comments and suggestion please! Continue ko pa ba?

Entry122 - Christmas Rush
Saturday, December 27, 2008
There was really no rush this Christmas for me, I've been pretty much relaxed just doing Operations survey and reading History and Philosophy readings. (NERD) But I've been up to a lot of things I think is worth blogging about! :)) I'll start on Christmas day, since I was able to blog the night before Christmas. XD
I wasn't really super on that day, doing a lot of thinking. Hmmmm... Shoes really makes me happy, and the big shoe sale of Reebok, Vans and Rockport over at SM Megamall lifted my spirit big time! I got a new dress shoe for formal events or presentations in school. Then, there's this really cool looking low cut casual wear leather shoes again from Rockport. Finally, there was a shoe from Vans that I got for sioti, which I would probably be wearing sooner of later since I was the one to find it! :) Really made my day! We ate at Yoshinoya, one of our favorite cheap restaurant to eat at. We went to mass at the new quasi-chapel over the new Atrium section of the Megamall... Really happy.... Tagaytay trip was on hold for the 30th. :( No more Punta Fuego. :(( Well that was Christmas Day for the Que Family... At the mall!
Yesterday, the 26th of December, we got a visitor to stay over the night. Sioti was out the house, so the guest, a really close family friend from Pampanga, stayed at his room. But before she got to our place, we ate at aVeneto over at Trinoma, which was really good! I love their meatball parmagiana, PhP250 only! We also did our Christmas cleaning that day, since there was no maid around. I was in charge of the stairs and the second floor living room. Had chocolates :)) Learned a lot of weird phrases: Of course, golf course!; Corrected by!; and many more. :)) Really really fun. Had fruitcake and coffee at the terrace that night!
Today, we went out and visited a lot of malls. Got new pairs of slacks from Izod. Then finally I got the palmrest protector for my mac for only 200 pesos over at the mac accessories sale at Apple center at SM North! :) It used to be sold for PhP1500, so I was really happy when I saw it on "super sale!" Really happy. Got a new shirt as well.... Really great day! By the way, SM Annex was breathtaking! I can't explain how great it was... Basta Super great! :))
Well, that's all i have for you now! :)) But do expect more from this blog! I've been inspired to write a story which will come out weekly... starting in a week's time I guess :)) I've been watching Korean Movies the past few days... will talk more about it soon... Sorry

Misc. Entry - Melodies of Life

Final Fantast IX OST
Emiko Shiratori
Alone for a while I’ve been searching through the dark,
For traces of the love you left inside my lonely heart.
To weave by picking up the pieces that remain,
Melodies of life - love’s lost refrain.
Our paths they did cross, though I cannot say just why.
We met, we laughed, we held on fast, and then we said goodbye.
And who’ll hear the echoes of stories never told?
Let them ring out loud till they unfold.
In my dearest memories, I see you reaching out to me.
Though you’re gone, I still believe that you can call out my name.
A voice from the past, joining yours and mine.
Adding up the layers of harmony.
And so it goes, on and on.
Melodies of life,
To the sky beyond the flying birds – forever and beyond.
So far and away, see the birds as it flies by,
Gliding through the shadows of the clouds up in the sky
I've laid my memories and dreams upon those wings
Leave them now and see what tomorrow brings
In your dearest memories, do you remember loving me,
Was it fate that brought us close and now leave me behind
A voice from the past, joining yours and mine.
Adding up the layers of harmony.
And so it goes, on and on.
Melodies of life,
To the sky beyond the flying birds – forever and beyond.
If I should leave this lonely world behind,
Your voice will still remember our melody.
Now I know we’ll carry on.
Melodies of life,
Come circle round and grow deep in our hearts,
As long as we remember.

Entry120 - Infinity
Monday, December 22, 2008
The Christmas break started, but for the first time my whole life, I'm still working on requirements hoping that it would make my life easier by next year. I've been working on the OpMan survey, and thankfully it's done. We're going to start passing it out starting tomorrow,we're just waiting for it to come back from our professor. :) For philosophy, I can't believe that I sat eight fucking hours straight just to figure the preface of the book Totality and Infinity. I got the hang of it a bit at least.
Mirrors, the movie with Sutherland, was really cool! The story to begins with was sound, followed by really scary scenes! I was amazed that I liked the movie's ending, probably because it was different. Far from my favorite scare flick the sixth sense, I think the movie could have been a little better. It could use a prequel, something about how Anna Essaker got demonized and how the patients were killed. :) I would love to see how the directors would make that look really like a bloodbath. XD
Last Friday, I was with my freshies for their first Christmas party as a block. I really had fun with them! One of them actually got wasted! :)) It was good fun! I hope we could drink again! I miss getting drunk!
Guys! Try javachip at Seattle's! It's definitely my favorite drink now!
I missed you so!

Entry119 - Eternity
Tuesday, December 16, 2008
Just a quick post. I'm working with my groupmate here at Matteo steps for our OpMan pass tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll be done by 430 so i can be home by 6. Anyways, we're about halfway through the paper. It's actually almost done, we're just adding more facts and values. Hahaha. We had a fun marketing class yesterday. we talked about practical business practices and realistic business practices. We get to see a glimpse of how corrupt the Philippine government is. :( How I wish it wasn't. I wonder how long the Filipino people will have to be under this kind of government? No one can be trusted in the government I guess...

Entry118 - So Close
Sunday, December 14, 2008
Hey guys! Been very busy, thankfully, despite the MIA status, more people came to visit the site! There are a lot of things that happened so I'll try to straighten them out, make it chronological, and sensible! :)) If I don't make sense do leave a comment, and I'll try to make it have sense! To start, you might notice that a new author appeared out of nowhere and posted something on my blog. That author is a really good friend of mine, a really nice friend! I've known her for ages, nursery, and been friends ever since! Well that's enough about the new author, I might make her head really big! :)) Just kidding! :))
The week started as a holiday, something about mary, but doing marketing work over at Uyham's. I don't remember anything particular that day... I remember though that I had to commute to Greenhills where I was supposed to be picked up by Jolo. Before that, I got myself Choco Loco Super from Quickly and met up with a group mate, the only girl groupmate, at Coffebean. XD Well, we went back to Greenhills that afternoon to check the prices of products... End of day!
Hmmmm.... Can't remember what happened after Monday....
Fast forward to Friday, we had our first operations management exam. I studied well, so I think I passed it, though not aced it. After that, we headed to Dencio's Capitol Hill. It was my plan to go there, and D** obliged. :)) He even payed for everything! Thanks Don, belated Happy Birthday! :)) It was the a really long time since we had a get together like that, the P2 boys I mean. I missed the guys terribly. After that, we, Gian and I, headed for Uyham's for the first in many sessions of marketing overnights :)) When we got there, OMG! :)) They were already working on the paper, so quickly took off my contacts and shoes and readied my laptop for the work ahead.... Good thing I had someone to talk to over YM. Thanks a lot for keeping me awake! I know you were sleepy! Anyways, we wrapped it up at around 530am. Yes, you heard that loud and clear, 530am! We were already sabaw during those time. Our paper probably didn't make sense anymore... I'm not sure, I'm going to read it tomorrow and I'll let you guys know! :)) At around 9am, we got up from bed to finish the paper, and there we decided that we'd go with Herb, Inc as the company name and Citrasol for the product's name. BTW, our product is an air freshener with anti-bacterial and insect repellant properties. When we got up, we had banana pancakes! :)) I love banana and pancakes! XD (",) After that, we were finally done with the draft, we're going to work on the rest tomorrow afternoon. I just hope we don't have to work till late at school, I'm planning to study history and marketing the night tomorrow! :))
Today was really great! :)) Got tons of book from the National Bookstore Clearance Sale over at Market! Market! XD For about PhP595, i got myself eight books already! I had so much fun. Though the selection wasn't that great, I still got some classics, like a Narnia coffee table book :)) Madame Bovary... and a primer for the stock market! :)) I'm really happy! :)) XD It was a great day. Had great food too, from aveneto over at Visayas Avenue. They have great food at affordable prices! You better try it sometimes. The service is fast, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The only thing I have to complain about is their dirty restroom :) Overall, I liked it there! :)) I saw AMAPARTY2008 people at MEGAMALL while looking around megatrade for new ideas. I miss them as well... I think everything will be different if... No use crying over spilt milk :( But, it was great seeing them besides Ateneo. :))
So that's the week for me! I hope it made sense to you. I'll be posting some of the things that interests me come Christmas break. BTW, I'm looking for culinary or HRM students or graduate who are looking for a full time job. The only requirement is that you need to have an idea or a product. If you think you are the person I am looking for, please email me at glentq@gmail.com. I've been singing Jon McLaughlin's "So Close," which was featured in the movie Enchanted. Really really great song! So, I guess you already figured it out, here's the song( and the scene from enchanted where it was used) from youtube! I fell someone is so close to my heart now... giggles (so gay) That's it! Frank the Tanque, over and out!

Can't Find the Words
Friday, December 12, 2008
(2:05:12AM): Well, I maybe composing something out of nothing, but there’s always something there. He is at uyham’s place again doing marketing, but he still takes time to go over his multi-tasking skills. He doesn’t like his schedule ruined, although he tends to break some of his own rules. He has a lot of alter-egos, which kinda makes him a special child on his own way. He goes crazy over books, like a kid in-awe wanting all the playthings in the toy store. He tends to be an ordinary guy who has a lot of potential, but he is a superstar who has a lot to offer. He’s not the cheesy type, but he can’t act like he doesn’t care. He likes sweets well enough, but he’s the vise-versa of it. He’s someone I grew up with and to an extent, a part of me. I don’t really have much to say because there will be too many things left unsaid to sum it all up. He gave me the symptoms and filled my prescription with a good boost of tanquelizers. It seems like I can’t a put a finger on it, but he got a pull on me. XD --The Anti-Depressant

Entry117 - The Memory Keeper's Daughter
Sunday, December 7, 2008
The Memory Keeper's Daughter is a wonderful movie. An adaptation of Kim Edward's bestselling novel, which I haven't read yet,of the same title. it narrates a family story almost similar to Jacquelyn Mitchard's The Deep End of the Ocean. Ironic and painful. :( A simple yet deeply moving film. Hope I get a copy of the book. The story tells the life of a family, of a father's decision, of children in pain, and of death. Also watched House Bunny, surprisingly good! :P

Entry116 - Bitter Pill
Friday, December 5, 2008
Ill be a bit busy come the last few days of the year. Working on the marketing and operations passes, much effort is needed to see it through. If I might be a snob, that's because of these things. No, this is not for everyone. It's for the few people I love who might miss me. I know they'll miss me. If they don't, I'll kill them! I'll never forgive them if they won't miss me. XD I'm kidding! there's no way I'll kill anyone or hold a grudge. It's too much already, the marketing and operations passes, and adding such stress would just make things worse. :D
I finished late last night Heart Sick, which accompanied me through that 4 hours break I had. It was a nice read, but too much praised for something unoriginal. You heard it right, it's not original. The story's final twist was similar to Saw, the movie franchise, and I was disappointed. I wonder why Booklist even considered it as the serial killer novel of the year (last year). :( Yeah, I would agree that Gretchen was a great serial killer with ulterior motives to everything she's did, but that same thing made her very much like John from Saw. It was a real disappointment. :(
There's a big big big book sale that's going to happen over at Market Market next weekend hosted by National Bookstore. I'll definitely be there if I have the time. The email I got says that their book will go as low as PhP20, but I think that's an exaggeration! Im guessing those would be Filipino romance novels that the maids really like. :( Well, I hope they'll a have great selection, because I'll be pissed if they don't! :) I'll try to get those that are already on my Christmas wishlist, and probably some religious and self-improvement books. :)) Im crazy!
That's all for now! Ill be posting something really interesting soon!

Entry115 - A Good Day
I'm pretty tired. :( There's been a lot going on in school and in life. Been thinking so much about stuff, takes so much time and leaves me stressed out. It feels so heavy, but that's life. Complaining won't do me any good! XD
This morning, on my way to school, the MRT administration decided to switch the escalator's direction. Those that were suppose to go up were going down, those that were suppose to go down goes up.The result, people making me laugh when they figure out that they are facing an escalator that's going straight at them. :)) The surprised look on their face, it was definitely something! :))
At the LRT, right after the escalator incident, I was pleased with the pace the LRT was moving. I'm guessing about 20/hour. It was a gloomy day, and the slow ride was a good way to enjoy it. XD
Anyways, while walking around school looking for a place to read my book, I saw Atom Araullo walking along the street in front of Xavier Hall. I'm not sure if it definitely was Atom, but i like some of his show like Kalye, a new documentary on ABS-CBN. :)) Irrelevant. I wonder what's he doing in Ateneo. :D
It was a good day, though a lot of things are left to be done.

Entry114 - The Plan
Wednesday, December 3, 2008
"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 NIVI got this from World Vision after donating. I wonder, is this the answer I've been looking for? :)
I got a new book yesterday for a really cheap price! :) So happy! I love psychological thrillers! :) The review on the book's sleeve came from known writer Chuck Palahniuk and the award giving body Booklist XD Really, really excited to start reading it over the weekend. The Prodigy, which I was reading the other day, ended well. I recommend it for those who love God, and those who like to know a bit more about God. I sound weird and optimistic... :(
